La Flèche d'Or
102bis rue de Bagnolet
75020 Paris
Description
Large, trendy bar in a converted railway station on the now defunct La Ceinture - a line which used to encircle the city. The décor includes much railway bric-a-brac and other junk to add to the ecletic feel. The stage hosts live bands (of various persuasions), and even when there isn't a band on DJ's keep the crowd dancing. Very informal and relaxed, and one of the few places where the young, mainly French, crowd feel comfortable downing copious quantities of beer (although you won't see many pint glasses). There is a kitchen of sorts, turning out rather unappetising food. Also has a few Internet terminals in case you want to check the Pub Guide for the next place to go. |
