The Auld Alliance
80 rue Francois Miron
Paris' first Scottish pub. Kilt-clad bar-staff serve pints of Murphys, Tenents lager and others to a mixed clientel. Very similar in style to the many Irish pubs in town, but with it's own unique Scottish slant. Food is no longer served.
Des Cooney says: "A good mixture of French and Scots frequent this bar, now notorious since the well publicised exploits during the world cup in 1998."
